Describe Law of Thermodynamics?

The Zeroth Law of Thermodynamics asserts that if two systems are each in thermal equilibrium with a third system, they are in thermal equilibrium with each other.
This seemingly obvious principle is absolutely foundational to all thermodynamic measurements. If System A and System B are both in thermal equilibrium with System C (which we can consider a thermometer), then System A and System B must be at the exact same temperature and in thermal equilibrium with each other. This validates the use of thermometers to accurately measure and compare temperatures across different isolated bodies without bringing them into direct physical contact.
