Welding is universally defined as a localized materials-joining process where two distinct metallic parts are structurally fused together entirely by raising the interface temperature strictly beyond their absolute melting points. This process systematically creates a continuous, completely unified pool of molten metal.
Upon controlled thermal cooling and solidification, this weld pool establishes a massive metallurgical bond that is frequently stronger than the base materials.
