Answer

The Zeroth Law of Thermodynamics rigorously states that if two independent systems are each individually in strict thermal equilibrium with a third system, they are absolutely in thermal equilibrium directly with each other.

The Zeroth Law of Thermodynamics forms the absolute logical and physical foundation for all empirical temperature measurement and the strict definition of thermometers.

It explicitly asserts that if physical Body A is completely in thermal equilibrium (meaning absolutely no net heat transfer occurs) with Body C, and physical Body B is also completely in thermal equilibrium independently with Body C, then Body A and Body B are strictly guaranteed to be in perfect thermal equilibrium with one another if placed in direct physical contact.

This law mathematically validates that a scalar property called "temperature" universally exists.
