Answer

A voltage follower is a unity-gain buffer Op-Amp configuration (Av = +1) with very high input impedance, and slew rate defines the maximum rate of change of output voltage in volts per microsecond.

A voltage follower is an Op-Amp circuit where the output is directly connected to the inverting (−) input, and the non-inverting (+) input receives the signal. Due to virtual short concept, , giving a voltage gain of exactly +1. Its purpose is impedance matching — providing a very high input impedance and very low output impedance without any signal gain.

Slew Rate (SR) is defined as the maximum rate of change of output voltage that an Op-Amp can produce, regardless of how fast the input changes. It is given by:
