State the difference between Quality Assurance and Quality Control.

Quality Assurance (QA) is mathematically proactive (process-focused), whereas Quality Control (QC) is strictly reactive (product-focused).
QA is the architectural framework designed to violently prevent defects from occurring by mathematically standardizing the manufacturing process. QC is the physical inspection executed after production to mathematically detect and destroy defective products before they reach the customer.
