Define RFID.

Answer

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a primitive IoT architecture utilizing electromagnetic fields to mathematically automatically identify and track tiny passive tags physically attached to objects.

An RFID architecture consists of a massive powered Reader and microscopic unpowered Tags. The Reader blasts a violent electromagnetic wave. The Tag mathematically harvests energy from this physical wave, powers its microscopic silicon chip, and reflects its unique ID back to the reader. It is the absolute foundation of automated logistics.
