List two advantages of biometric authentication.
Answer
Biometric authentication provides absolute physical non-repudiation and completely eradicates the severe human vulnerabilities associated with weak or forgotten alphanumeric passwords.
Biometric architecture (fingerprints, retina scans) mathematically maps unique biological features. It provides massive security advantages: First, the credential cannot be forgotten or easily shared (unlike a password). Second, it provides absolute non-repudiation because the physical presence of the human is mathematically proven at the time of authentication.
