Define Symbol Table.
Answer
A Symbol Table is a highly optimized data structure tracking all source code identifiers.
The Symbol Table is an absolutely critical, centralized database data structure constructed and relentlessly maintained by the compiler. It aggressively stores every single identifier (variables, function names, classes) found in the source code alongside its strict attributes, including its data type, memory scope, parameter list, and actual physical memory allocation address.
